CPU Benchmarks / Blender CPU Benchmarks

We use Blender Open Benchmark to as cpu benchmark at our site. It measures exactly the cpu multi-core performance under sustained heavy load. It takes into account CPU power TDP abilities, which means if laptop CPU with low TDP (ie 15W) goes into 4Ghz turbo for 1 minute and then lowers to 2.5GHz this is present in Blender benchmark (this isn't measured well by many popular benchmarks). For laptop or generaly low TDP(Power,Watt) you should be aware that mostly laptop CPUs with TDP<35W are going to throttle their turbo speed very fast and are not going to sustain for long time. They will start browser fast using their turbo but not encode video for hour.

If you want, and we encourage you to, you can click Submit button after the benchmark is done and it will add to the Blender Benchmark database which will be displayed even on this site.
